Absolutely Fantastic.

I've always wondered that.
What's the difference between these situations:

1. You run away from home when you are 13 and you have this memory of your best friend from 7th grade that you carry with you until you die. This person may or may not be alive when you die. But since you have never been told, that memory still prevails and they are alive to you because you have not been informed otherwise.

2. Same situation, but when you finally return to your home town at 29 and look up your friend, you find that they died in a car accident. Suddenly, your memory gets warped of this person extending from the simple fact that you will never met them again.

but in the long run. No matter what situation is true. You never do see the person again.

Perhaps when we find out we will never see the person again, our sub conscious is telling us that this is useless information and our memory of them begins to slip to make room for more storage space. Our mind flips out and tries to grab everything about this person is can in your brain.

Those who never have to deal with death truly are blessed.
